Norma Arlene Pratt 77, of Decatur passed away in her residence at 7:10 a.m., Friday November 12, 2010.
A service to celebrate Norma’s Life will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown. Norma was born March 12, 1933 in Mt. Auburn Township, IL the daughter of James F. and Hazel M (Fishburn) Powers. She married Charles J. Pratt Jr. on October 31, 1954. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2004. She was retired after thirty-three years of service from the Illinois Bell Telephone Company.
Norma was a graduate of Decatur High School. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club. She enjoyed crafting, collecting sea shells, bird watching, reading, camping and traveling.
Surviving are her children: C. Steven Pratt and his wife Rebecca of Decatur, Karen M. Lange and her husband Robert of Cumming, GA and Donald B. Pratt of Cumming, GA; Sister: Frances M. Vaughan and her husband TJ of Decatur; brother and sister-in-laws: Earl Stathers and his wife Alice of Decatur, Ben and Dorothy Pratt of Natchitoches, LA, Don and Hilda Pratt of Haughton, LA, Gerald Stewart and his wife Sheila of Natchitoches, LA; grandchildren: Crystal Pratt, Joshua Pratt, Madison Lange, Shawn McLeay, Rebecca Bills and her husband Brian, Mitchaleen King and her husband Nick, Angela Thaxton and her husband Christopher and Ryan Lange and his wife Shannon. Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law.

Sorry to hear that my favorite Mother-In-Law is gone no one told me that you and Chuck passed I feel for ya all. Wish I could of been there I alwaysed missed you and Chuck. Love and my Prayers go out to the family
